About Us

Based in NEW YORK CITY'S prestigiouS Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music, Art, and the Performing Arts, the New Music Ensemble provides a space for talented young artists to write, produce, perform, and record contemporary music. Under the direction of Mr. Robert Apostle, the New Music Ensemble has 3 performances per year. NME musicians master the vital skills of collaboration, creativity, leadership, and responsibility. The ensemble is structured as an independent study, which is paired with the guidance and mentorship of Mr. Apostle.
